Wedding Music

We will work with you to help make your event a success.  We offer unlimited phone and email consultation for no cost about planning the music for your event, and we will suggest music selections on request.

We can be hired to play prelude music, cocktail hours, receptions, parties, and other special events.

Wedding Bluegrass Music
We can send you a list of the titles of all the instrumental bluegrass pieces we play, and we take requests for specific bluegrass pieces.  We can also send you a list of bluegrass vocal pieces we play, just ask.  We can choose selections for you, you just let us know what speed you want the music to have (slow, medium, fast), what volume, and what instrumentation.  When we play bluegrass, Margaret always plays fiddle, and Victor performs on either guitar, mandolin, or banjo, and we are both vocalists.  Guitar provides a warm, acoustic sound, mandolin produces the most intricate and pretty music, and banjo provides an authentic, twangy bluegrass sound. We can perform all instrumental music, or a mixture of instrumental and vocal music.

We can perform acoustically (this is best for indoor situations, except very loud, crowded receptions) or with amplification, which can be good for outdoor situations.  We can provide microphones (regular and hand held wireless) and amplification for officiants, and other speakers during the ceremony, and we can make announcements for you over our PA.    We can also play your music from an iPod or other source through our speakers when we are not playing.

Bluegrass music is a style that includes a large repertoire of Christian or Gospel music.  We can provide a performance where all vocal tunes are Gospel tunes, some Gospel and some secular, or all vocal tunes secular.

We can provide microphones (regular wired microphones) and amplification for officiants, and other speakers during the ceremony, and we can make announcements for you over our PA.    We can also play your music from an iPod or other source through our speakers when we are not playing.
