Bluegrass Music

Bluegrass Music is an acoustic style of music developed in the United States in the beginning of the 20th Century.  It consists of a repertoire of Tradition Appalachian instrumental dance music, which includes fast pieces and slow waltzes.  It also has a repertoire of vocal pieces, especially those composed by Carter Stanley of the Stanley Brothers and Bill Monroe.  Contemporary artists include bands like Allison Krauss and Union Station, Lonesome River Band and Aubrey Haynie.

These are sample recordings of us playing bluegrass music, including fast fiddle tunes, vocal tunes, and a waltz.
